 To complete the registration process as an accepted participant:

1. Book accommodations by 15 MARCH 2015

2. Pay registration fee by 1 APRIL 2015

 

 

PAYMENT

Registration fee is ​ZAR 3000 (approximately US$260 or 230 Euros).

Must be paid via bank transfer by 1 APRIL 2015.

Students and postdocs based in South Africa pay a reduced fee of ZAR 1500.

Please ensure that ZAR 3000 (or appropriate) reaches our account, in Rands, AFTER any bank fees, exchange fees, etc.

This fee includes lunch from M-F, conference facility fees, and the conference dinner supplement (for the participant only).

ACCOMMODATIONS

Conference accommodations are at the Protea Hotel Kruger Gate.  Rates are for a Luxury ensuite room including breakfast and dinner, and are as follows:

- R 1515 per night for SINGLE

- R 2050 per night for TWO PEOPLE SHARING

Additionally, there is a 1% tourism levy.

 

To book a room, fill out this form and return it via email to Corné Bam, our conference coordinator.  Please do NOT book directly through the hotel's website.  If you have any special requests regarding the room, please feel free to contact Corné.

 

The hotel also has a small number of self-catering chalets, with 2 BR+loft and kitchen, for R 2040 per night.  Please contact Corné to enquire availability.  Note that you must book your meals separately (R175 breakfast, R228 dinner), or self-cater.

 

Note that partners sharing a room but not attending the conference will not have lunches included; this must be paid separately to the hotel.

 

You must book a room at the Protea to attend the conference; there is no "day conferencing" option.
